We have several plans to choose from for your business ad. All plans include your business name, graphic and link
to your business ad from our Plan #1 ~ Up to 10 lines of text = $25 per quarter Plan #2 ~ 11 to 16 lines of text = $28 per quarter Plan #3 ~ 17 to 25 lines of text = $35 per quarter
For a longer ad, please contact Amy for pricing. You can go to our Business Index and take a look at the size and style of font and the graphic size. If you need help with editing or need to make periodic changes to your ad, these services are free of charge. We allow one text change per month but will change email addresses and URLs any time it's necessary. BONUS! If you pay for a full year of advertising in advance, you will get an additional 30 days of advertising FREE! Graphics need to be clearly visible at 75 x 75 pixels and 100 x 100 pixels resolutions. Simple graphics show up best to all makes of graphical browsers, and if you have a logo on your website, that would be a good choice. *.gif format is preferred, although small *.jpg graphics are also acceptable. Please select your own graphic and email it as an attachment along with your ad copy. It is not necessary to have a website in order to advertise on the Swap's Business Index! We are always available and are happy to help you. Also, take advantage of the open, friendly nature of the forums and join right in. Remember, our advertisers are welcome to mention their websites on the forums when the context is appropriate and place a link to their ad in their signature.
Misuse of Swap Information:Garnering email addresses from Swap ads or forum posts in order to use them for personal or business mailings is not allowed. This will be grounds for the recipient of the mail to file a formal complaint with the Swap management. Swap addresses are never to be used as targets for unsolicited mail--this is called junk mail, or spam. Access will be pulled and denied if such actions are confirmed. In the unhappy and unlikely event of a bad check that is not covered, promised goods that are paid for but not delivered, repeated emails that are ignored when a problem has occurred, or other abuse of the Swap's mission, advertisements may be revoked and a list will be kept in order to prevent further abuses of the good will of our patrons. The Site Co-Managers have no intention of playing "SwapCops", but will take reasonable, legal steps to protect all those who frequent the Swap. The Site Co-Managers will NOT intervene in actual disputes between users, but will maintain a collection of information about those who abuse the Swap in any way, whether it be the disregard of Swap rules or a blatant abuse of the trust that others have placed in them. No Dealer-to-Dealer or
Dealer-to-customer disputes will be handled by the Swap management.
Dealers are responsible for their own transactions and all details
involved, as is true for all independent businesses. Disclaimer of Responsibility:Due to the nature of the transactions that occur via the Swap, Swap management is not able to guarantee the content, condition, or availability of any items advertised here or on sites linked to the Swap, nor the continuing existence or availablity of the Swap itself throughout any subscription period. All transactions are solely at the risk of buyer and seller. Swap management is not and will not be held responsible in any way for any trouble arising from any difficulties between any users of the Swap, whether those users are paying subscribers, Dealers, or non-paying buyers. All situations involving revocation of passwords will be at the sole discretion of the Swap Management, and their decision is final.
